In the course a meaningful experience that I had was creating a RSS Feeder. I used Feedly as my RSS Feeder of choice. I like that I could type in keywords and articles pop up that are relevant and recent about that topic. I also like how it allows you to create like a table of contents of your favorite feeds. This allows them to be a quick click away. My favorite technology feeds come from Cool Cat Teacher and Free Technology for Teachers.
This course focuses on the leadership role a technology coach will take. In this course I looked the paperwork side of the job. I will say I prefer the hands on and creation side. I enjoy creating web quests and lesson plans. I love providing tech support and coaching teachers. This paperwork side was a challenge just like the data class. However this class gives insight to the importance of the paper work. Creating a Technology Plan for the school is important. This will help support the technology program and make way for chances to create the things that I prefer. Without a good technology plan the technology implementation will not have a vision and will not have someone analyzing the needs assessment for the school. All of this helps support a successful technology program. This class has really helped me see all that a technology leader needs to know to support the technology integration and implementation at the school-level.
