Ashlee R. Crawford
My name is Ashlee R. Crawford, and I have successfully completed the Master's Program in Instructional Technology at Kennesaw State University. I began the program Fall 2014 and I graduated Summer 2016. I also graduated from Augusta State University (Now known as Georgia Regents University Augusta) in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Childhood Education with an emphasis in Mathematics and Science. Immediately after graduation, I began teaching at Burke County Middle School, Waynesboro, GA. After two years of teaching there, I moved to Thomson-McDuffie Middle School, Thomson, GA. Currently at T-MMS, I teach physical science to 8th grade students.
KSU's reputation in instructional technology led me to the Master's Degree program in the Department of Instructional Technology. My ultimate goal is to obtain a job as a technology coach or become a Teacher Leader in the use of Technology in the Classroom at the Public School Level and the College Level. I plan to continue with my education by pursuing my Specialist's Degree in Instructional Technology - Technology Leadership at KSU.
The purpose of this portfolio is for me to demonstrate mastery of the PSC Instructional Technology standards and the ISTE NETS-C standards. As you can see, there are a series of links below the KSU logo that you can visit. Of particular importance is the "standards" link. Under this link, you will see a series of artifacts and reflections documenting the important work I have completed during this program. Each artifact represents mastery of the standard under which it is represented.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Kennesaw State University, and feel that I am well-prepared to integrate technology into my classroom and to assist other educators in using technology and providing professional learning opportunities for them.
